OFFROAD FEELING

The WEINSBERG Light Expedition Vehicle features the electrically controlled four-wheel drive system of the new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. Off-road motor caravaners can choose between two engines: the LEV 515 CDI with 150 hp/110 kW and the LEV 518 CDI with 184 hp/135 kW. The intelligent Adaptive ESP®/4ETS technology developed by Mercedes-Benz removes the need for mechanical differential locks, since unstable driving conditions are automatically detected, allowing action to be taken to decrease the braking force of the individual wheel brakes and/or swiftly reduce the engine power. The Webasto DualTop diesel heating system, which serves to directly generate fuel for heating and hot water, is a major benefit for independent travellers.
